Kerry’s new heartache over George

Pals reveal Kerry Katona and George Kay’s turbulent relationship seems to have hit a rocky patch again

❛she says George is working away but she seems distracted and not herself❜

She posed for S a cosy “at home” photoshoot surrounded by her children last week – her second this year without her husband of nearly three years George Kay.

And now Kerry Katona’s pals fear she and George may have hit another stumbling block in their relationship.

At the time Closer went to press, the couple – who are usually inseparable – hadn’t been seen out together for nearly a month. Despite often sending each other gushing messages on social media, Kerry, 36, raised eyebrows when she failed to post anything about George on Father’s Day, just days after saying she was “having a little time off social media” to focus on herself.

BARELY TOGETHER

Last week, George uploaded a cryptic post reading: “When you are making sure you are on the same page with someone, also be sure that you are in the same book, and that all parties know how to read.”

A source reveals: “George has barely been seen at the family home for weeks. Kerry keeps telling people he’s working away, but is being vague about what he’s doing. She seems distracted and not herself.

“George used to accompany Kerry everywhere, but they’ve barely been seen together. She insists everything’s fine, but she’s spending a lot of time in her room or doing yoga and doesn’t want to talk about George.”

PARTY LIFESTYLE

The pair’s relationship has been dogged by drama since they started dating in 2012. They nearly didn’t make it down the aisle after a booze-fuelled bustup at their joint hen/stag party in 2014, and split after he was accused of assaulting her in September 2015. The case against him was later dropped after Kerry withdrew her statement.

In 2015, Closer reported Kerry had kicked him out of their home because she was fed up with his party lifestyle, and pals fear that history may be repeating itself.

Kerry – who has daughter Dylan-jorge, three, with George, as well as Molly, 15, Lilly-sue, 14, Heidi, 10, and Max, nine, from her previous marriages – has recently overhauled her diet and lifestyle and been showing off her 3st weight loss.

She also revealed her plans last week for her and George to train as life coaches, saying they want to be a “celebrity counsellors” double-act. A source says: “Friends were a bit shocked to hear that George might get involved. No one can really see them in that line of work.”

Now pals worry that Kerry – who admits she recently “burst into tears” over daughter Molly’s plans to move to Ireland to study in August – will struggle to cope with more heartache in her personal life.

A source says: “It seemed like Kerry’s life finally had some stability. She stuck by George after their marital problems, and was determined to prove that this marriage would last the distance. Everyone close to her hopes for her sake that is the case – because more heartache would devastate her.”
