his week lovely Craig T Tinker (who we HEART) is set to discover the truth about evil rapist neil… Bethany doesn’t know what Neil is capable of – and she’s exhausted from keeping it all to herself, so she ends up telling Craig that Neil (Craig’s work colleague) is Nathan’s mate – and that he was at the parties. Craig is horrified. How tough have the scenes been to film? The whole storyline has been harrowing and difficult. It’s especially upsetting because you remember that people actually go through this, and I’m just pretending. Are you close to Colson smith (Craig) behind the scenes? I’m really close to Colson, although when we’re out and about he can’t get away with not being recognised! I look a lot different to my character because I wear make-up and I don’t dress the same, but Colson is ginger and he’s absolutely huge (tall)! Corrie is your first acting job; is it strange suddenly being thrust into the public eye? To be honest, nothing has changed for me. I still have the same friends, I still do the same things... Are you a healthy gym-going type? I wish I could say that I was, but no. I had a Mcdonald’s last night, and I have a gym membership but I don’t go. What do you enjoy doing during your downtime? I go out quite a lot at the weekend, which probably isn’t a good thing because then I’m tired on a Monday. I like watching TV, having a bath and eating lots of food! You posted online about being a “proper grown-up” after buying your first home (in Blackpool, with boyfriend Tom leech)… I still don’t really feel like one but it’s been really good. I like being at home and going shopping for homeware stuff. I’ll be like, “Oh yeah, I like that candle…” Do your family watch you on Corrie? My mum’s just like: “Oh there’s Lucy on the TV.” My dad doesn’t find this storyline the easiest thing, and my boyfriend doesn’t watch Corrie. I’m so busy I’m watching it on catch-up.
