She’s done little S to hide the fact she’s already looking for a new man after uncovering husband Kieran Hayler’s alleged year-long affair with their nanny – revealing last week how she’s even signing up to a dating app. Newly single Jordan, 39 – real name Katie Price – Tweeted to her 2.1 million followers: “Onwards and upwards! The girls are telling me to get on Huggle. Gonna give it a go! It’s my new approach lol xx.” Her announcement was followed by reports that she was asking pals to help her find romance – with sources revealing the mum-of-five was “begging” friends to hand out her number to younger men, including footballers Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Big Brother star Lotan Carter. And sources close to Jordan say she’s on a desperate mission to find her next man, having given herself a sixweek deadline to move on with someone new. A source says: “Katie’s incapable of being single – she sees it
as a sign of failure. She’s in panic mode and is going allout in her hunt to find a man, whatever the cost.
GETTING DESPERATE
“As well as asking friends to fix her up on dates, she’s sending messages to a string of stars on Twitter, setting up fake online dating profiles on numerous sites and has even hired a top matchmaker who works globally – saying she’d travel anywhere for a date if it meant landing the right man. She’s bordering on desperate – all her energy is going into finding her next boyfriend.”
The former glamour model has already faced a backlash from her ex-husband Alex Reid, 42, for embracing single life so eagerly, with the cage fighter claiming she “hoovers up men.”
Shortly after claims that Kieran, 30 – who had previously had affairs with his wife’s best pals Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas – had cheated on her again with their children’s nanny Nikki Brown, 40, Jordan joked about how fast she moves when in a relationship, saying: “I marry after five weeks.”
And pals say the star is determined to stay true to form with her newly imposed time frame for the next husband.
A source says: “Katie had planned to line up a new man while her marriage to Kieran was crumbling, but it hasn’t worked out yet. She’s very fragile right now, but she’s trying to mask her pain with the search for a new lover.
“She’s told pals she’s given herself six weeks to find someone new and she’s not ruling out another marriage. She hates being by herself and wants to find a new husband. She doesn’t just want a boyfriend, she wants someone that can fit into her family unit.”
Jordan even compared herself to Elizabeth Taylor – who married eight times – in 2012. She said: “I was watching a programme about Liz Taylor recently and thought how similar we are, falling in love so fast and so deep.”
She also appeared to be trying to relive her glory days as a glamour model recently, after she gave a sneak peek of her new – very revealing – calendar. And she faced humiliation again three weeks ago after Love Island’s Olivia Attwood slammed the mum-of-five for setting her sights on her boyfriend Chris Hughes – claiming it was “laughable” that he would even entertain it.
BREAKDOWN FEARS
And in another blow, DJ Tom Zanetti revealed how he’d distanced himself from the model-turned-popstar after he was embroiled in a sexting scandal with her earlier this year.
Last week, Jordan revealed that she fears she’s heading for a breakdown after dealing with the stress of a miscarriage, her third marriage unravelling and her mum’s recent terminal illness diagnosis.
And pals say she is still emotionally scarred from being left by footballer Dwight Yorke in 2002 while pregnant with their disabled son Harvey, now 15.
A source says: “That fear of being single has never left Katie, and it’s why she’s so scared of being on her own.”
Yet despite her vow to find someone new, Jordan – who has Jett, four, and Bunny, three, with Kieran – hasn’t officially announced she’s leaving the former stripper and he’s still living at their Sussex mansion.
A source says: “Katie wants to keep Kieran around for as long as possible because of the children and plans to torment him by flaunting her dates in front of him. The atmosphere between them is toxic – but Kieran still hopes they can salvage things.”
