MY TYPICAL DAY:

-

‘I spend as much time with the kids as possible’

I WAKE UP EVERY MORNING AT 6AM, even on the weekends when my sons Milton, eight, and Maurice, six, are with their father Simon. My body just wakes me up. I’ll do some hoovering and make sure the house is tidy before the kids get up at 7am. ON WEEKDAYS I TAKE THE BOYS TO SCHOOL FOR 9AM AND THEN I’M BACK HOME TO GET ON WITH MY WORK. I’m writing my autobiography and designing my blog. I can work from home most of the time, which is perfect as a mum of young children. I ALWAYS COOK THE KIDS’ DINNER WHEN THEY’RE AT SCHOOL SO IT’S READY FOR THEM ON THE TABLE AT 3.45. I don’t want to be fussing about in the kitchen when they get home. I like to spend as much time chatting and playing with them as possible. THE BOYS HAVE A LIGHT SNACK LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AND THEN THEY’RE IN BED FOR 7.30. I should unwind, but I tend to spend my evenings cleaning, checking emails and watching the news. I have a final cup of tea around 9pm and take a book to bed. At the moment I’m reading something by romantic novelist Milly Johnson.
