TAMZIN OUTHWAITE SHOCK RETURN

Fifteen years after leaving the soap, Tamzin Outhwaite is making a comeback as Melanie Owen in scenes to be aired over New Year. She was last in Albert Square in 2002 when Mel left Walford following the death of on-screen husband Steve Owen (Martin Kemp). After being implicated in his drug dealing, she fled the country – along with £30k of bail money given to her by Phil Mitchell. “Eastenders is in my DNA,” says Tamzin.
