As she postpones her tour, pals say the former model is devastated at the backlash she’s faced

She’s had a difficult S couple of months – with claims husband Kieran Hayler had cheated again, her mum’s terminal lung disease and a humiliating public spat with Love Island star Chris Hughes.
And last week, after previously cancelling a number of shows, Jordan sensationally postponed her one-woman tour due to “personal circumstances”.
Fans were outraged – with one posting on social media, “She’s lost so many fans through being selfish, really unprofessional to pull the plug.”
Jordan, aka Katie Price, was forced to cancel recent shows in Manchester and London after she reportedly received an email warning her that unless she paid £50,000 in cash, her disabled son Harvey, 15, would be kidnapped and have his face “smashed in”.
Now sources say the terrified star is too fearful to continue with her tour – and has postponed it until next spring.
LOSING FANS
A source says, “Katie is feeling really low and she’s paranoid she’s losing her brand identity and has let down her fans – but she felt she had no choice.”
Just days after cancelling her tour, fans were left confused and outraged when they saw via social media that the star, 39, had jetted off to Turkey. One fan said, “She can’t do her shows because of threats to family and doesn’t want to leave them, yet can go to Turkey?”.
And pals say Jordan – who’s also mum to Junior, 12, Princess, ten, Jett, four, and Bunny, three – insists she had to go to Turkey for an emergency teeth appointment and left her children well-protected, but she’s now worried about the recent backlash she’s been receiving.
The source says, “Katie had a lot of pain in her back molars and had no choice but to get treatment. She left the kids with Kieran and has brought in worldclass security, some of whom have worked for the royals. She feels fans are starting to turn on her no matter what she does.”
But the source adds that Jordan is determined to turn all this negative press around.
A pal adds, “Katie is now planning on rebranding herself. She’s worried she’s becoming a bit of a joke and wants to renew her fan base by establishing herself as a proper TV presenter.”
