She may be a close friend S of self-confessed surgery addict Jordan – who’s had a facelift, 11 boobs jobs, veneers, fillers, a nose job, Botox and liposuction – but Michelle Heaton tells Closer she’s ruled out going under the knife for cosmetic reasons.

After discovering she carried a mutated BRCA2 gene – meaning she had an 80 per cent chance of developing breast cancer and a 30 per cent chance of developing ovarian cancer – Michelle, 38, had a double mastectomy in 2012, followed by a full hysterectomy two years later.

NO TIME FOR VANITY

Michelle, who’s taking part in Stand Up To Cancer’s Great Canoe Challenge, says, “I had facial fillers a few years ago as I’d lost weight. They were great, but I haven’t been tempted to have them again. I’d never say never to a facelift! But I can’t see myself having a big operation for cosmetic reasons. Because I’ve been through the mastectomy and hysterectomy – which were so hard – it would be difficult to do something out of vanity. Ask me again in 10 years, though!”

Former Liberty X singer Michelle has been close pals with Jordan, 39 – aka Katie Price – for years. She was a bridesmaid at her first wedding to Peter Andre and even introduced her to her second husband Alex Reid.

It was recently revealed that Jordan’s third husband Kieran Hayler had been unfaithful with their nanny Nikki Brown – something she denies – and that Jordan’s mother Amy had been diagnosed with a terminal lung condition, and Michelle says she’s been on-hand to offer a sympathetic ear.

JUGGLING ACT

“I’ve been in touch with Katie a lot over the past few weeks,” she says. “I’ve known Amy for long time and it was very upsetting for everyone who knows and loves her. Katie’s strong, though, and she’s getting on well.”

In 2016, Michelle joined Natasha Hamilton and Kerry Katona in Atomic Kitten as a replacement for Liz Mcclarnon, due to Liz’s fear of flying. She has toured with the band around the world, including in Australia and India. But she admits juggling work and homelife with husband of seven years Hugh Hanley and their children, Faith, five, and Aaron, three, is a struggle.

She says, “My favourite thing is going on tour with the Atomic Kitten girls. It’s honestly the most fun and we have the best time. But at home I have no help – no childcare, no grandparents around to help. I’ve got a very understanding husband. We’re like ships in the night sometimes. It’s how we carry on with our careers and look after our kids. We’re very happy this way.”
