‘I’ll take things slowly with Josh’
She endured a bitter break-up from Stephen Bear last year but, judging by her social media accounts, Charlotte Crosby is moving swiftly on with Love Island and Ex On The Beach star Joshua Ritchie
Charlotte, 27, and Josh, 23, were first linked when they were spotted cosying up at mutual friend and Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers’ MMA fight in December. And their romance seems to have heated up, with Charlotte sharing an intimate photo online of the couple in bed together last week.
But insiders say the pair have known each other for a while, and reveal they’ve become inseparable since getting back in touch last month. A source says, “They met at a launch party not long after Josh came out of the Love Island villa in 2015, and they hit it off straight away. But it wasn’t until Aaron’s boxing match that sparks started to fly. They couldn’t help themselves that night – it was like there was no one else in the room for either of them.
“Charlotte and Josh have been seeing each other on a regular basis. They’re both from the north, which makes travelling to see each other much easier. Josh is from Bolton and Charlotte is spending a lot of time at home in Newcastle. It’s a much shorter distance than when Charlotte was going to London to see Bear.”
The ex-geordie Shore star split with Bear, 27, in October last year, after ten months together, amid Twitter rows and allegations of cheating. But insiders now say that Charlotte is well and truly over her ex following their break-up, and has vowed not to get into another toxic relationship. Last week, she appeared more confident than ever, after showing off her figure in a revealing swimsuit.
A source adds, “Josh and Charlotte have been seeing each other casually – she wants to take it slowly. Charlotte feels like she has learned her lesson and won’t be getting into a toxic relationship again.”
