Apretty face he may be, but Tom – now known as Joe (keep up!) has turned out to be a real wrong ’un. Recent gripping scenes have seen Debbie appalled to discover her boyfriend was behind the demolition of the Dingle house. Revealing his true identity, viewers gasped with horror to discover Tom Waterhouse is in fact Joseph Tate (whose dad was Charity’s late husband, Chris) – and this was all a revenge plan to get back at the Dingles! This week, a fuming Debbie heads off to Home Farm, dragging some petrol canisters with her. Joe arrives to find Debs waiting for him, and she explains she’s rigged the place. We can’t reveal what happens, but it’s safe to say this is not Joe’s week – and there are further scenes where he’s jogging through the woods and comes face-to-face with a masked man brandishing a shotgun (as you do). Then Joe tumbles into a pit covered by moss, and panics when he can’t get out…

Elsewhere, it’s Chrissie and Lawrence’s funeral, where Lachlan puts on the grieving son act (actually, he’s desperate to get his hands on Gerry’s phone, which contains an incriminating message). Rebecca, meanwhile, is still in a coma, and Robert grasps at hope when he sees her finger twitch.

The fab Nicola Walker plays Steve Pemberton’s missus Harry, and Steve is the exceedingly dull Adrian. They’re due to renew their wedding vows, but just as Harry presents Adrian with a trip to Paris, something very warped happens – and the ending may stay with you for some time…
