Gwyneth’s joy: “I’ll marry Brad in Mexico!”
Three years after she ‘consciously uncoupled’ from ex-husband Chris Martin, newly engaged Gwyneth Paltrow prepares to tie the knot again
❛THEY WANT A HUGE PARTY WITH ALL THEIR FAMILY AND A-LIST FRIENDS❜
She confirmed her S engagement to Brad Falchuk last week, following months of speculation, gushing, “We feel incredibly lucky.” Now insiders reveal that Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow is planning to tie the knot in Mexico later this year.
The actress and GOOP founder, 45, and her TV producer fiancé, 46, made their announcement after the cover of GOOP magazine was released, picturing a loved-up Gwyneth being cuddled by her husband-to-be.
INCREDIBLY LUCKY
In a joint statement, they said, “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives, when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.”
And pals say the actress – who shares Apple, 13, and Moses, 11, with her ex-husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, 40 – is ecstatic to be getting married again and is busy planning a lavish beach wedding with all their celeb pals.
A source says, “They’ve decided to marry in Mexico, and want a huge party with all their family and A-list friends, including Beyoncé, Jay-z, Demi Moore and Christian Louboutin. They’re planning on a three-day affair, with lots of entertainment and surprise performances.”
ONLINE BACKLASH
Gwyneth started dating dad-of-two Brad three years ago, after “consciously uncoupling” (a term she was widely mocked for using) from Chris, who Closer recently reported is rumoured to be giving her away at the ceremony.
The source adds, “While it may seem bizarre to some, it’s a testament to how far Gwyneth and Chris have come.”
But Gwyneth’s happy news has been overshadowed by cruel trolls mocking her announcement online.
One joked, “He’s a brave guy. They can share coffee enemas together. What a time for him to be alive”, referring to Gwyneth’s recent promotion of a potentially harmful coffee enema colon cleanse.
Another criticised the wording of their engagement announcement by saying, “Why can’t she just use plain English? Why the need for all the psychobabble?” While another simply said, “She’s so pretentious.”
The source says, “Gwyneth feels she’s a constant target and no matter what she does, she’s going to receive criticism.
“It does hurt her and she’s been tearful at times, especially as it’s meant to be such a happy time. But she’s determined not to let the negativity get to her.”
