‘I love doing the Tracey Anderson workout!’

I USUALLY WAKE UP AROUND 8.30AM. My pugs, Ronnie and Reggie, sit by my bed until I get up. I feed them and make myself a coffee, before taking them for a walk. Then I sit in front of the TV while checking my emails. Since leaving Girls Aloud, I’ve been heavily involved in songwriting. THEN I LEAVE FOR MY STUDIO SESSION. I’m currently working on Cheryl’s upcoming record, as well as writing my own. If it’s a session for Cheryl, we usually finish at 7pm, and if it’s a session for me, then I will go on into the early hours. It’s great that Cheryl and I can still work together; we understand each other so well. I TEND TO WORK THROUGH LUNCH AND GRAB A SALAD OR SANDWICH from a deli, or I order Deliveroo. I love Caribbean Jerk fish. Apart from running with the dogs or going to ballet class, I occasionally go to Cheryl’s for a workout and we do a Tracey Anderson routine together. We laugh at each other; she is so much better at it than me! SOME EVENINGS I MIGHT DO A DJ SET AT A CORPORATE OR FASHION EVENT. I like it when I get to play the music I want to play. If I’m staying in, I love to chill and watch TV. I really enjoyed the recent BBC documentary about Maya Angelou, charting her life as a poet and an activist. I’M A NIGHT OWL and I often don’t go to sleep until the early hours of the morning because I often find my mind is still racing!

She’s working on Cheryl’s new album
