She looked incredible as she soaked up the sunshine in Dubai in a two-piece, and Denise Van Outen has said she’s more confident than ever. The presenter, 44 – who’s mum to Betsy, eight – said, “I don’t worry too much what people think any more. In my 20s I used to eat all the things you shouldn’t eat. Now I have Betsy, I want to set an example. I just cut out booze to lose weight.” Asked about her top diet tip, she added, “I love jacket potatoes. But I have them for lunch so I can burn them off in the afternoon.”

She looks far younger than her 47 years, but Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden insists she doesn’t diet to achieve her figure. The mum of two – who has daughters Lexi, 12, and Hollie, six – recently said, “You have to enjoy life. I eat everything. Drink everything. I had a friend once who didn’t make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was she spent her life on a diet. I don’t diet. I can’t stand gyms, but I like to run for an hour a week as I feel great afterwards.”

Not afraid to flaunt her amazing bikini body, Mel Sykes, 47, insists she works hard to achieve her washboard abs. The mum of two – who has sons Roman, 16, and Valentino, 13 – hits the gym five times a week, but only does 20 minutes of high-intensity exercise each session. Opening up about her ripped physique, the TV presenter explained, “I keep fit for myself. It’s about my life and how I feel naked. It made the transition into my 40s a lot easier.”
