The split from her T fiancé Andrew Brady last week marked the latest in a long line of Caroline Flack’s failed romances with younger men, including One Direction star Harry Styles – who is 15 years her junior. And pals say that after so much heartache, the Love Island presenter has sworn off dating toyboys. A source says, “Caroline’s devastated and she also feels incredibly humiliated by the split. She spent so much energy defending the romance and feels it’s all blown up in her face, which she admitted she was afraid might happen.”

NO GOING BACK

The source adds, “She is done with younger men and insists she’s learned her lesson. After being stung like this in the past, she says Andrew will be the last of her toyboys.” Caroline, 38, announced what appeared to be an amicable split from Apprentice star Andrew, 27, with a statement on Twitter, explaining that their relationship was “not to be”. She was also snapped the following day still wearing her engagement ring – although she was later pictured without it.

Rumours quickly began to surface that Andrew wasn’t trustworthy and used her for her fame – with pals claiming things could get nasty as she’s about to start a custody battle over their French bulldog puppy, Ruby.

Just two days after the announcement, news broke that Caroline had hit out at her ex on Facebook, accusing Andrew of secretly planning to appear on Celebs Go Dating before they’d split. She reportedly wrote, “When you find out your fiance had been planning a meeting to go on ‘celebs go dating’ and then has a meeting the day AFTER you break up. IN UTTER SHOCK. Kill me now.”

Andrew hit back at the reports on Twitter, admitting he had taken a meeting with the dating show but insisted, “When someone has no money and nothing to lose they tend to do crazy things.”

FAME HUNGRY

The pair went public with their romance in early March, but split later that month amid reports Andrew had cheated on her – however, they reunited shortly afterwards. Caroline was then forced to defend “fame hungry” Andrew in May after he was accused of tipping off the paps, saying, “He’s new to this world. No one is perfect.” The source reveals, “Caroline’s been having doubts for some time, which she couldn’t ignore any longer. She noticed he was always engrossed in his phone, and he appeared to be hooked on all the attention he was getting
