After overhauling her body, pals say Ferne Mccann has now turned her attention to enhancing her face – and it’s not escaped the admiration of her new love interest
ans have been in F awe of her body ever since she lost a stone and went from a size 12 to a 10 in just three months following the birth of her daughter Sunday in November, before dropping to a size 8 earlier this year.
But it’s not just Ferne Mccann’s body that has transformed. The 27-year-old star – who had a nose job in 2016 – was recently snapped with drastically larger lips, and pals say it’s all in a bid to please her new man.
Earlier this month, Ferne – who has denied using fillers, putting her pout down to “excessive amounts of lip liner” – was spotted canoodling with a mystery man at a party. She split from Sunday’s father, Arthur Collins – who is serving 20 years in prison after carrying out an acid attack in a London club – in April last year.
A source says, “Ferne treated this year as her fresh start. She had a terrible time being pregnant and single, and wasn’t going to have another year like that. She’s worked incredibly hard to get her body in such good shape and now she’s been turning her attention to her face. Friends wouldn’t be surprised if she’d had lip filler. She’s feeling the best she’s ever felt and wanted to reinvent herself to boost her confidence and help her chances of finding love.”
As Closer reported in March, Ferne had briefly dated an older man, whom she didn’t name, although she later admitted they shared “more of a friendship than a relationship”. Now insiders say the First Time Mum star is looking for something more serious and hopes her new look and confidence will help.
LOW-KEY ROMANCE
The source says, “Ferne is open to being in love again. She’s keeping her new man a close secret and, at the moment, things are very casual and low-key. She’s taking her time, but would love things to develop further. He’s doing wonders for her confidence and is making her feel special – he’s always showering her with compliments about the way she looks. Her closest friends have already been introduced to him, which is a clear sign she’s ready for things to get serious. This is the first guy she’s been able to see a future with since splitting from Arthur.”
In May, Ferne revealed she wanted a boob job, saying, “My boobs look like spaniels’ ears!” She added, “I never, ever felt I’d have a boob job, but my boobs have changed so much in the space of one year, I just want my old boobs back, I was freaked out at first but now I’m OK.”
But pals say she’s planning to wait a while before going under the knife.
The source says, “Ferne doesn’t want to rush into any surgery, but she’s not afraid to change something she’s unhappy about. She’d like to line up a few consultations for having breast implants, but she loves her body at the moment. She’s been telling everyone that this is the best she’s ever looked.”
STABLE FUTURE
Ferne’s love life has been anything but simple. She split with Charlie Sims – whom she dated for five years – in 2015 and did not have another serious partner until meeting Arthur.
But pals say her priority now is Sunday and meeting someone who can fit in with their lifestyle. The source says, “Ferne wants to find someone who can help her build a stable future for Sunday and, while it’s early days, things are moving in the right direction. She really likes this guy so is trying to
take things slowly, but they’re having lots of fun and enjoying their time together. He’s not met Sunday yet, but she loves that she’s found someone she can let her hair down with. She feels like she finally has her life back on track.”
