Why did you want to do Celebs On The Farm?

I had a bit of an experience of farm life in Nashville [where Essex-born Megan filmed her ITVBE reality show, There’s Something About Megan]. However, I learned that British farms are a little bit different – and more like my worst nightmare… I’m terrified of chickens and they were everywhere! You’re tending to the every need of the farm animals on this show – do they behave well? I’m absolutely terrified of alpacas (close relations to the llama) because they kick and spit, but as I got through the trial with everyone else I actually started to warm to them. I’m actually a massive animal lover, so this was another reason why I wanted to do the show. But it’s been quite challenging for me. Did you enjoy yourself? I enjoyed the company and I met a really good friend on the show: Charlotte Dawson – she is lovely. I really got on with all of them, though, as they were so funny and really big characters, I was always laughing. I also got to milk a cow, which is something I’ve always wanted to do. How did you find the early mornings? Tough, really tough! Whatever time they [the crew] woke me up, my eyes were stuck together I was so tired. Did you find it tricky dealing with all the farm-related muck? That was the thing I struggled with – no shower! Basically, I had a baby-wipe wash for the last couple of days and that was not good because I’ve got hair extensions – I need a blow-dry! And when you got home, how did you celebrate? By checking into a spa! On the first day we got to the farm they made us do loads of running and I am not fit, even though I am skinny! Every single muscle in my body was killing me, so I needed a hot stone massage – and a jacuzzi.
