5 MINUTES WITH...

Keith Lemon, 45, is back on our screens with the 10th anniversary show of Celebrity Juice – where famous-types basically make fools of themselves…

- By Hannah Wright

Did you ever think you’d hit the tenyear mark with

Celebrity Juice?

Last series, I said to Holly (Willoughby), “Next series will be ten years,” and she said, “I know,” and gave me a wink. Everyone’s looking forward to the celebrations. I can remember when Gino (D’acampo) joined and he made T-shirts for everyone that said, “Juice day.” He said, “There’s no Monday, no Tuesday, no Wednesday, it’s Juice day.” I just wish he’d given me a bigger size…

What have been your stand-out moments?

Having (Austin Powers star) Verne Troyer on the show was definitely one of them, what a great loss when he died. He was Juice family. Whenever you have friends on, it’s ace. Often, I’ll say to people, “Can you believe we’re at work?” All the Halloween specials are fantastic, though sometimes my costumes are a bit sweaty and I think, “Why did I choose to be Teen Wolf?”

Any fave guests you wish you could get on again?

We’ve had Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri on individually, but I’d like them all on at the same time, going up against Take That. Spice Girls against Take That would be great.

Does being famous have a downside…?

Sometimes people want a picture with you when you’re in the toilet!

Do you feel ten years older?

I’m older, but I think I look better. I look back at old Celebrity Juice pictures when I’ve got Anthea Turner’s hair. I used to think I looked like Owen Wilson and now people say I look like Mick Hucknall. If they mean Mick Hucknall in the ’90s, I’ll take that.

What happens when the cameras stop rolling?

I usually have a few beers after the show. You can’t leave before the guests. Sometimes I’ll have just one drink and then I go home, where I raid the fridge for anything meat-based.
