‘Jordan risks losing her kids’

-

Danielle Lloyd met D Jordan through the showbiz world, and the pair became firm friends. She even revealed in 2016 that she’d chosen Jordan as her bridesmaid for her upcoming wedding to Michael O’neill.

But now mum-of-four Danielle, 34, tells Closer that she’s more shocked than anyone at Jordan’s recent behaviour and that she’s concerned her friend is spiralling out of control. She says, “I’m worried for Katie. This isn’t the woman I know – the woman who’s been a great mum to her kids in the past. She’s brought up five children and a disabled son – that’s not easy. So it’s sad to see her like this. It seems she’s going off the rails and having a bit of a midlife crisis. I think she’s going to regret her decisions.”

Ex-glamour model Danielle reveals that she went through a dark period herself in the aftermath of her split from husband Jamie O’hara in 2014, and found herself going out partying too much. And she says that while it’s tempting to mask your heartache with wild nights out, Jordan should remember her kids come first.

“It’s obviously nice to have attention when you’ve broken up with someone,” says Danielle. “It’s a girl thing – we like making people jealous and feeling good about ourselves. But as a mum, you need to step back and realise your kids are the most important thing. You could end up missing out on monumental moments. You’ve got to be strong for them.”

Danielle adds that she doesn’t think Jordan’s ever fallen out of love with Peter Andre – whom she split from in 2009 – and that if she were to address her inner heartache with therapy, then maybe she could be truly happy.

Danielle adds, “Katie obviously hasn’t been happy since she split from Pete – there’s been one drama after the other. She doesn’t need a man to get by, she just needs to learn to love herself again. Therapy is great for that – it teaches you to have self-respect and get back to the real you.”
