‘JORDAN MUST QUIT FAME & MEN FOR HER OWN GOOD’
She entered The Priory clinic for a 28-day stint as an outpatient, after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but Jordan has continued to cause concern after seemingly failing to cut ties with her old lifestyle.
Last week, the mum of five, real name Katie Price, attended a pal’s wedding in a revealing red top, and just days later, was spotted on a dinner date with on-off flame Alex Adderson, 25 – despite reports that therapists were urging her to stay single.
Onlookers revealed that she looked “agitated” during her meeting with Essex businessman Alex, with the pair leaving the Hove restaurant after just 20 minutes.
Behavioural psychologist Judi James tells Closer that she believes former glamour model Jordan, 40, is terrified of walking away from her life in the spotlight and rollercoaster relationships – despite how toxic they both are for her.
She says, “If there’s anyone who needs a break from the fame game, it’s Katie. Anybody who is a fan or has watched her over the years, would tell her to stop and just take care of herself. She has this constant need to prove to everyone that she’s fine, but this will stop her from getting the help she needs.”
Judi adds, “Going to a wedding would have been tough for her because she was watching two people cement their love after recently seeing her own marriage collapse. The fact that onlookers said she was on good form suggests she was masking her real emotions.”
Opening up about Jordan’s chaotic love life, Judi adds, “The best option for Katie is to be single for her own good, but she’s never been single for long, so that could be very frightening for her.”
