If you have an important choice to make, a new study says a nap could help you nail it
Umming and ahhing over something? Get some shut-eye! Scientists measured people’s brain activity before and after a nap by hooking them up to an EEG machine and had them carry out two tasks. Experts already knew that our memory is strengthened during sleep, but this study also found that post-nap, people could process information better and be more decisive compared to when they stayed awake. It makes sense, as you’re more alert. The rule? Don’t make big decisions when tired.
