ALEX’S FERTILITY CONFESSION
The presenter gave birth to her first child, Teddy, last January and now Alex Jones says she would love to have a second baby with husband Charlie Thomson. However, she admits it’s been tough. Alex, 41, said, “I have to say, the first time – absolutely fine. Luckily, God, it happened. But second time, not as easy. I suppose I’m older now, but we took it for granted that it would be OK. But you don’t really know how it’s going to go until you start trying.”
Alex has been very open about her fertility. In 2016, she filmed a TV doc on the subject and discovered her mother had gone through menopause at 43. She said, “I thought I was bulletproof, and then you realise if you want a family, you do need to get on with it.”
