‘There’s sadness in her eyes’

The Beckhams visited Sydney Wildlife Park last week while on holiday Down Under – and although Posh and David weren’t photographed together, the mum of four was pictured posing with some kangaroos – with a seemingly forced smile.

Body language expert Judi James says she believes that Posh’s facial expression is masking deep unhappiness, and that despite an attempt at a smile, it seems she’s really struggling.

Judi says, “There have been photos of Victoria looking downcast in recent months but, interestingly, it’s here, where she’s actually ‘smiling’, that she looks her unhappiest. She’s making an effort to perform a happy smile, but that smile hasn’t reached her eyes and doesn’t affect the rest of her face. There’s sadness in her gaze and she looks distant and disconnected. From this picture, I’d say she looks pained and rather unhappy.”
