Lauren Goodger shocks fans as she promotes a website offering casual hook-ups – while pals worry she’s ‘sexing up’ for her ex, Joey
She was forced to deny she was turning to porn recently after revealing she was set to join the subscriptionbased app Only Fans – notorious for X-rated content. And last week, Lauren Goodger shocked fans once again when she launched an adult dating site promoting casual sex and the exchange of uncensored photos and flirty messages with other members. Lauren, 32 – who insisted she hoped the site would help her find love too – announced the news on Instagram, telling her followers, “Something I’ve made for you... follow @l au rens little secret dating .” The site – which charges members £22 a month – originally told users, “Have hot, casual hook-ups with flirty girls like Lauren. Whether you are looking for a babe or a girl with a banging bod, go on naughty sex dates here.” Though this was later removed from the site. For a higher fee, users can prevent the payments from appearing on their bank statements. Users upload profiles, often including explicit photos and videos, and some female users even offer paid-for-sex services.
GOBSMACKED
Fans quickly went online to express their outrage, with one insisting, “I hope she doesn’t have any young girls following her because she is the worst role model. She should be ashamed of herself.” Another asked, “What’s next? Her own brothel?”
And insiders say friends have also been left shocked.
A source reveals, “Some of her friends are gobsmacked by it. Lauren had said she was mortified when she was linked to the Only Fans site and insisted she’d never be involved in anything related to porn.
But this site contains lots of pornographic content. Pals are stunned she wants her image or brand associated with that.
“When the site went live, Lauren admitted she was stunned at some of the explicit content – particularly the suggestion of casual sex and affairs. She would never condone cheating, so she asked for a few changes to be made to the site. But she still loves being associated with something sexy and raunchy.”
Just last month, Lauren – who split from fiancé Mark Wright in 2011 following claims he’d been unfaithful – revealed she had enlisted a life coach to help her find a new man after splitting from on/off flame Joey Morrison in July when he was caught messaging other women.
The source adds, “Friends have told her she’s not going the right way about meeting a man. They don’t think a nice, normal guy would try to find a serious romance on a site like this and have warned she could scare off potential men by having an association with something so explicit. They are also surprised she’d be involved with anything that offers secret hook-ups as she’s been cheated on in the past.”
DESPERATE
But following Joey’s release last month – after serving just over half of a 16-year sentence for a string of violent drug-related crimes – insiders say Lauren is desperate to boost her sex appeal to appear desirable to him.
Last week, Joey liked one of Lauren’s Instagram photos – despite the pair not following each other – which is said to have re-ignited a spark between them.
The source says, “Lauren has always felt that she and Joey have unfinished business and they never really got the chance to see where their relationship could have gone outside prison. He messaged her a few weeks back and admitted that he still thinks about her and would be willing to give things another try. Pals think she’s ramping up the sex factor to tease him. Lauren’s pals can’t believe that after all Joey’s done, she’d consider letting him back in her life, but she can’t seem to stop thinking about him.”
