SHERIDAN’S 20-HOUR BENDER AFTER ROW WITH FIANCÉ
She reportedly went on a 20-hour “booze bender” last weekend, after a row with her fiancé, Jamie Horn. And pals say Sheridan Smith, 37 – who got engaged to her 28-year-old “Tinder toyboy” in May after just three months together – has sparked concern over her emotional wellbeing.
A source says, “Sheridan and Jamie have been rowing and she’s starting to wonder if it was a mistake to rush things. Everyone is worried that if the relationship ends, it could send her spiralling back into that dark place.”
The Cilla actress previously revealed she’d “lost my mind” during her struggle with depression and anxiety after losing her dad Colin to cancer just two years ago, but insiders say she’s assured loved ones she won’t let history repeat itself.
The source adds, “Sheridan’s promised friends that it was a one-off and says she won’t allow herself to go through the hell she went through again. Everyone’s hoping she can work through her issues with Jamie, or have the strength to end it before things get any worse.”
