‘Everyone has fallen in love with Anne’

She was known as the Governess and the Iron Lady of game show The Chase, but Anne Hegerty showed fans a new side to herself in the jungle – winning praise for speaking openly about her Asperger’s syndrome and bravely tackling tasks way out of her comfort zone.

And Nick believes Anne, 60, will continue to spread a positive message about mental health, revealing, “Anne is such a smart woman, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she returns to The Chase, but she will be in high demand to also front documentaries highlighting Asperger’s and talking about it in the mainstream.”

Nick adds, “She’s shown how warm and kind she really is and viewers have championed her, so I’m sure we’ll see much more of Anne in the future.”
