CAPRICE
How much do you spend on food each week? Around £350. I know it’s a lot, but I will go to town on food shopping. Plus, I run my business from home, so I often feed my colleagues, too. I buy organic or free-range. Describe your daily diet… For breakfast, I’ll occasionally have a home-made croissant because I love them and they taste amazing. I only indulge about twice a week. Otherwise, I like to give my digestion system a break and just have a matcha tea. Lunch is a vegetarian wrap or spring rolls, or a Caesar salad. Sometimes I crave pasta, so I’ll have it in the afternoon so that I can work it off throughout the day. For dinner, it will usually be a smaller amount of protein, so I’ll have fresh sole or seabass with asparagus or broccoli. I snack on almonds and cashews. Is there anything you refuse to eat? The idea of haggis makes me want to vomit. What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten? I didn’t eat it, but I was once offered pigs’ ears during a trip to China. What would you cook to impress? I don’t think I would impose my cooking on my worst enemy, so I would pretend I’ve cooked. There’s a great new restaurant near me in Notting Hill called Laylow. Food hangover cure? Add two sachets of Dioralyte to water and down it. It’s disgusting, but it works!
