Desperate Jordan: “I need Pete to fancy me again!”
As she avoids bankruptcy, insiders say Jordan is fed up with being ‘pitied’ by her ex Peter Andre and has vowed to have more surgery in an attempt to turn his head again
he’s been S through a turbulent few months, including narrowly escaping bankruptcy last week, being arrested for drink driving and a spell in rehab for post-traumatic stress disorder. Now pals say Jordan’s fixation with ex-husband Peter Andre is driving her towards another crazy plan.
Insiders reveal Jordan, 40 – real name Katie Price – is convinced that Pete, 45, with whom she shares Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, has been feeling “sorry for her” since her life started to go off the rails earlier this year.
A source says, “She looks at Pete’s life and can see how happy and settled he is with his wife Emily [Macdonagh] and it’s such a contrast with her life that she can’t help but imagine he pities her. If there’s one thing she craves most in the world, it’s approval – and Pete’s in particular. Everything comes back to looks with her, so she is planning a drastic surgery makeover to feel like the old, powerful her again.”

The mum-of-five’s behaviour spiralled out of control following her split from third husband Kieran Hayler, 31 – dad to her kids, Jett, five, and Bunny, four – in May. Since he got together with new girlfriend Michelle Pentecost, Jordan – who is also mum to Harvey, 16 – has indulged in a series of wild nights out. Her antics hit a new low when she was videoed rapping “I love coke” in a hotel room with two strangers, while on holiday in Marbella.
Despite mounting financial problems, the star – who went to rehab in September to tackle her demons – managed to swerve bankruptcy last week, and sources reveal she may have to downsize her house or remortgage.
The source says, “Katie’s had a difficult few months and her self-esteem has taken a bit of a battering. Despite all the chaos, she likes to think she’s still ‘got it’ when it comes to the key men in her life. She wants to feel attractive and for her exes to find her desirable, rather than take pity on her. She’s particularly bothered about what Pete thinks because he’s always been ‘the one that got away.’”
Last year, Jordan, who is in an on/off relationship with personal trainer Kris Boyson, described Pete as “the love of my life”. The pair were married for four years before their bitter divorce in 2009.

And pal Francine Lewis told Closer recently, “Pete was a very genuine person and I just think it’s really sad that she lost him, because he’s the nicest man anyone would ever meet. He really cared. I don’t feel Katie has been happy since she broke up

And insiders say the reality star – who’s had nine boob jobs, a bum lift, several face lifts and multiple fillers – is now planning more drastic procedures in a desperate bid to make Pete desire her again.
The source says, “All Katie wants is for Pete to see her back to her best, and she’s convinced that if she works on her exterior, that will happen. She’s really insecure and always needs every man to want and fancy her – even Pete. Her selfworth is all wrapped up in her looks and she insists that if Pete found her attractive, she felt it would make her feel better – even though she knows they’ll never be an item again.
“She’s planning another boob job, as well as a tummy tuck, bum implants and a thigh lift. She also wants to have full body contouring, including abdominal etching, to make her look more toned. She says she doesn’t care how much it costs – she’ll blag freebies in return for plugging them on her reality show and social media.”
Jordan – who was once reported to be worth £45m – has built her 22-year career and reputation on her sexuality. She started out as a glamour model and became one of the UK’S most iconic Page 3 girls and pin-ups. The source adds, “Katie thrives on men fancying her and she measures success on how desired she is.”
AFRAID
Despite reports the star was engaged to Kris, he shot down the claims last week. And pals say Jordan is simply stringing the personal trainer along.
The source adds, “She likes Kris, but it’s clear she’s not committed to a future with him. But she can’t let him go as she’s afraid of being on her own and facing the mess she’s in without a man by her side.”
