Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been firmly loved-up since 2017 – and now the pair are reportedly ready to take the next step in their relationship.
Friends of Jennifer, 49, and Alex, 43, have said that “an engagement is definitely on the horizon”, revealing that the pair couldn’t be happier with each other and that marriage is something they’ve talked about.
The claims come after previous engagement rumours, with eagle-eyed fans noticing that popstar Jennifer – also known as J-LO – had started following a wedding dress designer on Instagram.
Then last month, film director John Segal – who directed Jennifer’s latest movie
– hinted marriage was “inevitable” for the pair, adding “The question is when, not if.”
Jennifer opened up about her relationship with retired baseball star Alex last month, tearing up as she described how much he means to her.
She said, “He’s come into my life and really contributed in such a way. He’s so supportive, he’s so loving. He’s one of these people who’s like, ‘Shine, be the best.’ Some people try to dull you down, try to squish you down, and he’s so not like that. It’s just so refreshing. It’s just such a beautiful thing.”
This won’t be the first time Jennifer has walked down the aisle. She married actor Ojani Noa in 1997, but split a year later before moving on with dancer Cris Judd, whom she married in 2001.
She then married her longterm friend Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, both now eight. After a decade-long marriage, Jennifer and Marc announced their split in 2014.

Nearly ten years later, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth married just days before Christmas, tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Miley’s family home in Franklin, Tennessee, surrounded by family and friends. Singer Miley, 26, shared the news by posting a picture of the pair embracing, which she captioned, “Ten years later”.
The couple then headed off on a romantic honeymoon in a snowy ski resort in Montana, where they spent Christmas and were joined by most of 28-year-old Liam’s family, including actor brother Chris and his model wife Elsa Pataky.
Sources in the US claimed the pair decided to wed after
