How much do you spend?

Around £ 10-£ 15 per day. I plan my meal on the day I eat it so I don’t waste any food. I shop at Waitrose if I want something fancy, but most of the time I go to Aldi.

Describe your daily diet…

Breakfast is porridge with honey and sliced banana. I don’t drink much caffeine; I’ll usually have water or a mint tea. I’ll often eat a slice of cake mid-morning as a lot of the celeb interviews I do take place in fancy hotels. For lunch, I’ll usually have a posh salad from M&S, something like chicken with quinoa or black rice. In the evenings, I’ll typically eat salmon or chicken with huge salads – they probably contain more calories than the actual meal! I don’t have rice or potatoes as I’m trying to cut out carbs at the moment. I love Galaxy bars so I’ll snack on a few pieces, or fruit and nuts.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

I went to Brazil recently and while I was there I tried acai berries. I hated them at first, but after the third time, I loved them.

Is there anything you refuse to eat?

Rhubarb, I hate it.

Food hangover cure?

I don’t drink much, but if I feel worse for wear, a good cooked breakfast works.

What would you cook to impress?

A leg of lamb with roast potatoes. And for dessert, Jean- Christophe Novelli’s apple tart. It tastes absolutely delicious.
