Kim hurt by claims her new baby is an “accessory”
After confirming she’s preparing to welcome her fourth baby via a surrogate, reality star Kim Kardashian faces a cruel backlash
She finally confirmed reports that she’s expecting her fourth child with husband Kanye West on US chat show Watch What Happens Live last week – revealing that they’re expecting a boy who is due “soon”. But insiders say Kim Kardashian, 37 – whose youngest daughter, Chicago, also born via surrogate, celebrated her first birthday last week – has been left hurt by vile claims that she’s “buying” her babies like accessories.
NEGATIVITY
After the baby news was confirmed last week, critics leapt on the bandwagon, with one blasting online, “No one cares. She’s buying babies like purses.” While another cruelly wrote, “She buys babies like designer handbags and jewellery”. The comments were liked thousands of times.
A source reveals, “Kim was really shocked by some of the comments. She comes from a big family and has always wanted the same for her and Kanye. She loves being a mum and cannot wait for the fourth arrival. She hates that such a happy announcement was met with cruelty and negativity.”
The reality star has also faced trolling over her decision to use a surrogate – despite being told by doctors that carrying another child was too dangerous for her health. Kim endured difficult pregnancies with daughter North, five, and son Saint, three, due to suffering from placenta accreta – a potentially life-threatening condition where the placenta fails to detach itself after birth and becomes deeply imbedded in the wall of the womb.
Kim has previously opened up about the difficulties of using a surrogate, explaining, “People assume it’s better because you don’t have to deal with the physical changes, pain or complications with delivery, but for me it was so hard not to carry my own child.”
However, trolls suggested that the 8st 3lbs star – who’s famed for her hourglass frame and lost an additional 20lbs last year following a strict diet and workout regime – is only using

One critic wrote on social media, “Don’t believe for a second that she couldn’t carry any more children because of a condition or whatever she made up. She just doesn’t want to carry a child for 9 months and put on baby weight.”

‘PERFECT’ FAMILY
Following Chicago’s birth last January, Kim confirmed they’d picked the embryo in a process used for gender selection, but insisted they just picked the healthiest embryo – which just happened to be a girl. And pals say the star is delighted they’re having a boy this time.
The source adds, “She’s always dreamed of having three boys and three girls. Obviously, having a healthy baby is paramount, but ultimately Kim said an even number of each sex would create her “perfect” family. They’re extremely excited about adding another boy to their brood and say Saint can’t wait for a brother to join their gang.”
