Kate & Pete’s romance gets more serious
There were rumours they’d looked cosy at a Golden Globes party last month, and it seems Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson’s romance is heating up, as the pair have been seen together once again.
Kate, 45, and Pete, 25, were pictured leaving the comedian’s gig in LA hand-in-hand as they got in a taxi. Sources say they went on to a hotel together, looking smitten, adding the pair are planning on going on holiday together in the next few weeks, “to get away from the cameras and to get to know each other better.” Pete also fuelled rumours earlier this month when a fan shouted “Kate!” at one of his gigs and the SNL star reportedly said, “Yes” and smiled sheepishly.
While the relationship has raised eyebrows, it seems comic Pete is Kate’s type, as the British actress’ last two exes have both also been younger comedians. She began an on/off relationship with US funnyman Matt Rife, 21, in June 2017 before splitting early last year, and was linked to Jack Whitehall, 30, last November.
Prior to that, Kate dated actor Michael Sheen, 50, for eight years, with whom she shares 19-year-old daughter Lily. But the couple split in 2003 and, a year later, she married director Len Wiseman, 45, who she met while starring in his film Underworld. The couple divorced 12 years later. Meanwhile, Pete rose to mainstream fame last year when he began dating singer Ariana Grande in May. The pair got engaged after just three weeks before she broke it off in October. Last week, Ariana commented on Pete and Kate, saying they were “so cute”.
