POSH’S NEW MARRIAGE RULES

-

Their 20-year marriage has been under scrutiny in recent months, with fans commenting on their apparent lack of affection and “coldness” towards each other.

But last week, Victoria Beckham and husband David were seen putting on a loving display while on a family holiday in Miami, cuddling in the background of a photo of Romeo by a pool, and later seen cosying up together on a boat trip.

And insiders say their renewed closeness is down to new relationship rules the fashion designer has introduced, to ensure the pair spend more quality time relaxing together.

A source says, “Vic and David are both so busy, they often struggle to see enough of each other. The holiday was a perfect chance for them to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. When they’re in public, they feel like all eyes are on them. On holiday, the pressure’s off and they can relax and be themselves.

“Having had so much media attention of late, Vic told David she wanted to lay down a set of rules for them both to follow, for when their schedules keep them apart. She told him she wanted

to try to go no longer than 10 days apart, especially with David now spending so much time in America for his football project. And she wants them to review how they use their shared calendar – which is managed by their teams – so they can book more time together.”

While Posh, 45, is often based in London, David, 44, jets back and forth to Miami, with his MLS soccer league work.

But sources say Posh has been adding personal touches to his Miami pad, to ensure her presence is felt when she can’t be there.

The source adds, “Vic said she didn’t want David’s place to feel like a bachelor pad, and has put up loads of family photos. She felt the place was a bit bare before, and wanted it to have a homely feel, so David is reminded of them.”
