IS GARY A GONER?
Gary Windass has “got himself in a mess” (his words), which could well be the understatement of the century, as he ends up fighting for his life beside a shallow grave this week… The drama kicks off with all sorts of confusion, after Gary believes Weatherfield’s resident gangster Rick has managed to capture Sarah, and is holding her hostage in a hotel room. In actual fact, it’s the handsome Adam Barlow who Sarah is sneaking around with. The pair check in to a nearby hotel and, after placing a “do not disturb” sign on the door, they head to bed – cheeky! Meanwhile, the dim-witted Gary is frantically calling
Rick, demanding to know where he’s taken his missus. Rick jumps at the opportunity to get Gazza on his own for some further roughing-up, and Gary finds himself in some woodland, staring at a shallow grave, before Rick appears and does something bad! Elsewhere, Robert is another one having a stressful time of it. It’s nice that he and Michelle are back together, but something seems to be bothering the poor chap and, well, a major bombshell is about to be dropped (fabulous storyline brewing). Robert reels from some shocking news in the Monday 17 June episode, but as far as ’Chelle is concerned, it’s all happy families again when everyone gathers for a surprise engagement party, as Robert is planning to put a ring on it. There’s more with the new family as well, who’ve started a “noise war” with Claudia, Amy and Ken. Brill.
