KATY HIRES FOUR NANNIES

-

Despite announcing she was pregnant in March, she’s been working non-stop releasing new music from isolation. And, if COVID19 allows, insiders tell Closer that Katy Perry has no plans to stop after her baby is born this autumn, and has hired four nannies to help her cope.

A source says, “Katy plans to release her next album and go on tour later this year, but she doesn’t want motherhood to slow her down, so she is hiring extra help. There will be two nannies based at her home in LA, and another two who will travel around the world with her.”

It was recently reported that Katy, 35, and fiancé Orlando Bloom, 43 – who already has nine-year-old son Flynn with his supermodel ex Miranda Kerr, 37 – have had “ups and downs” as they struggle with pregnancy and the lockdown. But friends say Katy is determined to power through their issues, get back to work and raise their child.

The source says, “Katy loves working – it’s her true passion – and she operates like a machine! Orlando is a bit more chilled, and has Flynn to think about, so Katy’s assured him that hiring a bunch of nannies will help ease the pressure, as will her continuing to work and bring in big money.”

Orlando and Katy met in January 2016 and after a brief split, they got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year. However, they’ve been forced to postpone their summer wedding due to coronavirus. The source adds, “Despite a few issues recently, Katy’s convinced they will still get married. But with the pandemic, the baby, and

Katy’s career plans, it’s looking likely they will push back their wedding until next year.”
