Kim: “I can’t go through a third divorce”
Kim Kardashian is pulling out all the stops to put the spark back into her marriage to Kanye West after claims she is considering moving out of their family home

She did her best to silence reports that her marriage to Kanye West is in trouble last week by posting a gushing birthday tribute to her husband of six years on Instagram, dubbing him her “king” before adding, “Life wouldn’t be the same without you!”
STRAIN
Insiders reveal that Kim Kardashian – who shares North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and one-year-old Psalm with Kanye, 43 – will stop at nothing to salvage the relationship amid reports of “tension in lockdown” and claims she had considered spending time apart from Kanye, in a last-ditch attempt to “rescue what’s left” of their marriage.
A source says, “Kim’s really upset at how their marriage has been portrayed in recent weeks, and it’s putting strain on their relationship in an already stressful situation, as they’re at home with four young children.
“Like any couple, they have their issues, but she’s now on a mission to get her marriage back on track. She’s already planning some date nights at recently opened hotspots in LA, where the rules are different to the UK, and thinks that’s also a good way to make a public show of unity. She’s also set up sessions with a couples’ therapist over Zoom.”
STRONG FOUNDATION
Kim, 39, and Kanye were friends for ten years before striking up a romance in 2012 – just months after the reality star filed for divorce from her second husband, basketball player Kris Humphries, just 72 days after tying the knot.
Pals say the twice-divorced star – who ended her first marriage to music producer, Damon Thomas, in 2003, following a three-year marriage – is hell-bent on ensuring she and Kanye don’t suffer the same fate.
The source says, “Kim couldn’t bear the idea of going through yet another divorce. She’s learned a lot from her failed romances and the pitfalls to avoid and she insists she knows she and Kanye have what it takes to go the distance, given their relationship is built on a strong foundation of friendship. They are both still obsessed with each other and they have very similar values, too. Family is everything to them and they are both perfectionists, which helps them understand each other on a level that not many other people can.”
UPS AND DOWNS
Last week, “momager” Kris Jenner, 64, attempted to dispel reports the couple “are on different pages” by describing her son-in-law as an “important part of the family”, and pals say Kris – who was married to Robert Kardashian for 13 years and Caitlyn, formerly Bruce,
Jenner for 24 years – has been guiding her daughter through the ups and downs of her relationship.
A source says, “Kris loves Kanye like a son. She wants to support them both and has been trying to give balanced advice to both of them. She often turns to religion to help give them all strength and has been sending them both quotes from the
Bible, as well as promising not to take sides.
“Kris wants to be an open forum for them to talk to her about the pressures they’re under, and she has let Kanye know he can talk to her independently of Kim.”
Insiders also say she has been offering advice to the pair. The source adds, “Kris has urged Kim to put the fun back into her marriage and do things they did when they were dating – even if it’s just being silly together at home and making laughter a priority, especially with all the depressing news going on around the world now.
“Kim is hoping that Kris’ advice, together with her new plan, will help get her and Kanye get back on track.”
