Just weeks after going public with their romance, Lisa Armstrong was accompanied by new boyfriend James Green as she went house hunting, with the make-up artist reportedly preparing to move out of the property she shared with her ex, Ant McPartlin.

Although she received the £6m marital mansion in her divorce settlement from Ant in January, sources say Lisa, 43, is keen for a “new start” three years after she and the TV presenter split.

Her romance with James, 37 – which she confirmed a fortnight ago after she was pictured on a date with him, alongside her beloved pooch Hurley, whom she shares with Ant, 44 – is said to have started before lockdown but blossomed once restrictions started to ease.

The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist seemed smitten as she liked a liked a tweet from a fan calling James “fit”, and another which read, “She has been through hell and at last seeing the light let her enjoy a life she so deserves happiness.”

But her love bubble was tainted when James’ estranged wife and teenage sweetheart, Kirsty, 36 – with whom he shares a daughter, 14, and an 11-yearold son – revealed she was unimpressed to see the first pics of the couple on her birthday.

Kirsty said, “I saw the photos of James and Lisa yesterday on my birthday, which wasn’t the best present ever,” adding that James had moved out of their Hampshire home earlier this year, although they aren’t yet divorced.

James is Lisa’s first relationship since she was left “devastated” after her 12-year marriage to Ant broke down in 2018, with him quickly moving on with the couple’s former PA and Lisa’s friend, Anne-Marie Corbett, 43.
