‘Pregnant’ Jordan’s desperate for quickie wedding no.4

-

Her divorce from third husband Kieran Hayler is yet to be finalised, but Jordan is determined to walk down the aisle again as soon as possible with toyboy Carl Woods – so much so that last week, she ditched her wheelchair and took her first steps since she broke both her feet back in July.

Doctors previously warned Jordan – mum to Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six – that she wouldn’t be back on her feet for at least a year. Now, it’s believed she’s doing everything she can to fast-forward her recovery.

A source says, “Katie refuses to go down the aisle in a wheelchair so she’s trying to build up her strength. Even though Carl hasn’t officially proposed yet, they’ve discussed plans for the big day and it’s likely an engagement will

happen at New Year, followed by a quickie wedding.”

While the couple – who began dating in June – have been unable to marry yet as Jordan’s divorce from Kieran was stalled due to lost paperwork, they haven’t been shy about their baby-making plans and reports last week claimed the 42 year old is already “convinced” she’s pregnant after returning from their three-week holiday in the Maldives. And while pals are concerned she’s rushing in – after three broken marriages and two failed engagements – she remains defiant. Last month, she praised Carl as “the backbone in my life” and said her “future is a million per cent with him.” When fans expressed concern about the speed of the romance, Carl hit back on Instagram, “Nobody knows Katie like I do because nobody knows my version of Kate, my Kate is a new Kate like no other Kate before. My Kate is special, my Kate is absolutely phenomenal. My Kate is mine.”

The source adds, “Katie’s family like Carl, but they do question why things have to go so quickly – it was only a few months ago she was coming out of rehab and promising them she would focus on herself this year.”

And after her many previous

“Mr Rights”, psychotherapist Noel believes Jordan may feel there are “plenty more fish in the sea” should things go wrong.

He adds, “Whereas most ‘normal’ people will work at making a marriage last, celebs are less likely to due to their chaotic lifestyles and schedules, and also because they perhaps think they will always be wanted by someone else, so it doesn’t matter so much if it breaks down – hence the recklessness towards rushing ahead.”
