‘I follow a mostly vegetarian diet’

She posed naked on top of a cake for her 50th birthday last month, and Amanda Holden says she’s in the best shape of her life!

The Britain’s Got Talent judge likes to keep active and runs for at least an hour a week, as well as boxing sessions. She discovered yoga nine years ago and said her “body got strong and any excess fat disappeared.”

She also credits a meat-free diet for looking and feeling great. The mum-oftwo said, “For me, it’s lots of avocado, chickpeas and quinoa salads. I’ve followed a mainly vegetarian diet since I was 15, but I do eat fish. The children are vegetarian, too.”

One day a week, Amanda has a juice for breakfast and lunch and a healthy meal in the evening, saying, “I like cucumber, spinach, apples and lime. I always notice a difference in my skin.”

‘I haven’t had caffeine in years’

She turns 52 in July, but Jennifer Lopez has barely aged a day since she released Jenny From The Block in 2002. The singer maintains her curves by doing half an hour of Pilates daily, as well as

150 push-ups, plus regular gym sessions. She also keeps to a super-strict diet, eating only organic foods, and has cut out alcohol, sugar and salt. She adds, “I haven’t had caffeine in years. And I always carry fruit and veggies with me to give me something to snack on between meals.”

Jennifer’s trainer, Dodd Romero, says the star drinks at least seven glasses of water a day and eats lean proteins – such as egg whites – and leafy greens. J-Lo has embraced her body more with age, saying, “[When I was younger] I remember thinking I wasn’t thin enough because I had curves. Feeling beautiful is an attitude, so we should look for the things we love about ourselves.”

‘The less processed the food, the better’

Davina McCall recently became a certified personal trainer, and enjoys showing off the fruits of her labour. Last week, she hit back at a troll who said she was “too old” to wear a particular dress, saying growing old disgracefully is far more fun.

The former Big Brother host,

53, who has released 14 fitness

DVDs since 2004, works out six times a week for an hour each time. She enjoys running, boxing, HIIT and spinning.

The mum-of-three has also ditched processed foods and likes prepping meals. She said, “I swapped white bread and pasta for wholegrain versions after learning how high-GI foods affect your energy. The less processed the food, the better.”

She added that she preps all her meals at the beginning of the week to ensure she stays on track.

‘I’m now fanatical about nutrition’

Before turning 55 last week, Meg Mathews stripped down to her underwear to reveal her incredible six-pack, telling fans it was the result of regular weight-training classes over the past 12 months.

The mum-of-one was once known for being part of the party-loving Primrose Hill set, which included her ex-husband, Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher, as well as model Kate Moss and actress Sadie Frost.

But these days, Meg is teetotal and vegan, saying, “It might sound odd to hear that someone who used to live on cigarettes, rum and recreational drugs is now fanatical about nutrition, but I’ve realised the impact that healthy food can make on how you feel. That’s why I now try to eat as well as I can. I choose a plant-based diet with no dairy, gluten or sugar – my treats are blueberries, peanut butter or coconut yoghurt.”

‘Workouts don’t have to be strict’

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry sent fans into a frenzy recently, after she shared a photo showing off her amazing physique in a crop-top and bikini bottoms. The 54-year-old works out with a personal trainer five days a week, using a combination of martial arts, boxing, yoga and military training.

The mum-of-two also recently tried skateboarding, saying, “It proves that workouts don’t have to be strict or goal-orientated… so get out there, try something new.”

After being diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 19, the star cut out processed sugars, bread and red meat from her diet. She also does intermittent fasting, which is beneficial for diabetics as it reduces insulin sensitivity and also helps aid weight loss. She said, “I normally eat two meals a day, so I usually skip breakfast and sort of fast.”

‘I do ballet exercises wherever I am’

She turned 70 in February, but Jane Seymour could easily be mistaken for someone decades younger, thanks to her toned physique and youthful appearance. The former Bond girl has maintained that a healthy diet and regular exercise keep her looking and feeling good, with the mum-of-four also adding that she’s cut down on her meat intake.

She said, “I eat pretty clean. I love vegetables, fish, chicken and shellfish. I don’t eat a lot of meat or fat.”

But the actress doesn’t rule out treats entirely, revealing, “I will have cheese occasionally, and if I do eat dessert,

I’ll just have a few bites.”

As a former dancer, Jane prefers gentle, resistance-based exercise, including “Pilates, gyrotonics and a little spinning”. She also said, “Sometimes I do ballet exercises wherever I am, even at airports waiting for luggage!”
