Raise The Bar

Solid formulations of things such as shampoos, soaps and body wash eliminate plastic altogether. Say No To Single Use

Reduce plastic by opting for glass or aluminium bottles and buy refill pouches over bottles. This can cut plastic consumption by 80%. Supersize refill packs will save cash as well as plastic. Plus, even cheap hand wash will look fancy in a glass bottle! Label them up to avoid confusion, and to give your bathroom an organised, minimalist look. Supermarkets offer refills for cleaning products, too.

Recycle Like A Pro

With the best will in the world, we’ll still be using plastics and single-use products – that’s just life. But using recycled materials and swotting up on recycling rules in your area will really minimise the unnecessary waste – currently only 9% of plastic is getting recycled properly due to not being sorted correctly or contaminated. Always wash out plastics before binning, and remove Sellotape from boxes. Making small changes, like having a separate bin for recycling in the bathroom, will make the process feel more automatic.
