MAFS Australia’s Jessika:

Newly single MAFS Australia star Jessika Power has her eyes set on TOWIE heartbreaker Pete Wicks, and has plans to freeze her eggs to have a child on her own

“Pete is cute – we have flirty banter”

When Closer last spoke to Married At First Sight Australia’s temptress Jessika Power in February, she gushed over finding “The One” with her then-boyfriend, rapper Filip Poznanovic, praising him for getting to know the “real her”. But last week, the pair announced their split and, days later, Jess had already set her sights on a new love interest – TOWIE hunk, Pete Wicks.

Eagle-eyed fans had noticed flirty comments on Instagram between Jess, 29, and Pete, 32 – who earlier this month denied reports he was romancing Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause after they too swapped messages on Instagram, while his co-star

Ella Wise also told Closer there was “flirting” between her and the TOWIE star.

Jess says, “I think Pete is cute! We met when I did his podcast recently. We follow each other on Instagram and he and I have a bit of flirty banter.

GEORDIE FLING

“I would love to move to the UK and I have had a few of the British reality boys flying into my DMs. Scotty T from Geordie Shore and I had a thing a little while ago [while he was in Australia in 2019]. It came out in the media recently and he messaged me and I was like, ‘Why are you still bringing this up, it was like two years ago, babe!’

“I am definitely happier in a relationship but, since MAFS, I’m struggling to find somebody who can take on my world.”

MAFS season six recently had the UK hooked when it was aired on E4, but the controversial series was filmed in Australia back in 2018. Jess’ “marriage” to Mick Gould – which isn’t legally binding, despite them having a full ceremony and exchanging vows – became rocky, and new contestant Dan Webb – who was paired with Tamara Joy – instantly caught Jess’ eye and they started a scandalous affair.

Jess and Dan broke up shortly after the show, with their split later being plagued by messy cheating claims on both sides, which they’ve both denied.

TRUST ISSUES

Earlier this year, Jess met Filip through her brother, but last week he penned a “diss track” calling her a “snitch” and saying she treated him “like sh*t”, while she hit back calling him a “bully” and claiming he used her to prop up his career.

Of their split, Jess explains, “I didn’t trust him. He then didn’t trust me. And we would argue and bicker. We were only together for a short time so our relationship should have been in the honeymoon phase. It wasn’t, so it fell apart. I haven’t heard from Filip once since we broke up. It seems to me that this relationship was purely to boost his profile.”

Despite her public break-ups and failed “marriage” on MAFS, Jess hasn’t given up on the idea of finding love. She says, “I have had the worst dating history but I’m so addicted to love, it’s ridiculous.

“But I do want to get married and have children. I’m turning 30 this year and I don’t want to waste 10 years with somebody who isn’t on the same path as me. Maybe I’ll have to freeze my eggs and have a child on my own – it’s probably what will happen.”

The reality star has also had an image overhaul since appearing on the show. She’s had veneers, Botox, filler and a fat graft procedure to transfer fat from her thighs into her boobs, said to have totalled £30k.

Now, she wants more. She says,

“I’m always changing my look. I’ll look at myself and go, ‘Ooh, that needs to be fixed’ or ‘That needs to be touched up.’ At the moment, what I really, really want is a BBL [Brazilian butt lift]. Everyone’s like, ‘Don’t get one, your butt’s perfect’, but I just want one. I think they look super-hot.”
