Stacey Solomon has revealed her excitement at being granted permission to wed Joe Swash at their new £1.2 million dream home, after deciding to ditch their original wedding venue.
Sharing a glimpse of the picturesque grounds at their sprawling Essex pad, named “Pickle Cottage”, on Instagram, Stacey, 31, told fans, “So after lots of thinking, wondering, phone calls and then crazy re-arranging, we were so excited to hear tonight that we can definitely have our wedding ceremony at home.”
And insiders say the former jungle queen – who fell in love with I’m A Celeb! spin-off presenter, Joe, 39, during her stint on the show in 2015 – wants to create a rustic enchanted forest theme for their big day in July.
A source says, “Now Stacey’s been given the green light to host the wedding at home, she wants to go all-out to make it as special and romantic as possible and turn their entire garden into a magical fairy-tale-like forest.
“She loves the idea of creating an enchanted atmosphere with hundreds of fairy lights everywhere, mason jars with candles, lanterns in the trees and a really rustic decor with all her personalised touches.”
And pals say the tidying guru is turning to celeb pals including Sophie Hincliffe, 30 – aka Mrs Hinch – and Kimberley Walsh, 39, for help to pull the day together.
The source adds, “With only three months until the wedding, Stacey doesn’t have much time to get everything organised so she’s been texting her married friends for tips in the hope she can get as much inspiration as possible to start planning.”
