‘Being on Big Brother was a dream come true for her’
Nikki’s castmates were grieving last week, and paid tribute as they remembered their fun and feisty co-star.
Glyn Wise, 33 – who finished runner-up – was a shy 18 year old, but says Nikki made him feel at ease.
Glyn tells Closer, “The first time I saw Nikki, she opened the door of Big
Brother screaming, saying how happy she was while wearing a sexy bunny outfit!
“She couldn’t believe how lucky she was to be chosen for Big Brother. It was a dream come true for her. Even though I was 18 and she was 24, I always felt older than her. There was a vulnerability to her.
“On the first night, at 4am, Nikki woke the whole house screaming because her false eyelash had turned inwards. She was TV gold – a true Big Brother legend.”
One of the last housemates to see Nikki was her BB ex, Pete Bennett. He visited her last month and said he believed the “love he had for Nikki would boost her up”.
Glyn says, “I called Pete as soon as I heard. Everyone is terribly sad. Nikki had an aura about her that was so endearing, fascinating and warm. We’ll miss her always.”
