KIMYE AGREE TO JOINT CUSTODY

-

As Kim Kardashian West became a US billionaire last week – according to Forbes’ rich list – she and Kanye West both agreed to joint custody of their children, without the need of spousal support.

The estranged couple both filed papers in which they agreed that their seven-year marriage should end over irreconcilable differences.

According to Kim’s filing, they kept their properties – which are worth a combined £800million – separate throughout their marriage because of the terms of a prenuptial agreement.

While it’s been dubbed one of the biggest celeb splits in recent times, the stars’ impending divorce seems to be amicable, with sources recently telling Closer that they are both keen to stay on good terms for the sake of their children, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, who turns two next month.

An insider says, “Kim doesn’t want this to turn into drama. She still cares about Kanye’s wellbeing – and in particular his mental health – as he is her children’s dad and they adore each other. She wants him to remain a big part of their lives.”

Kim, 40, and Kanye, 43, tied the knot in a lavish Italian ceremony in May 2014, but reports emerged that their marriage was on the rocks last summer.

During what Kim said was a bipolar attack, Kanye reportedly angered his wife by telling fans they had considered terminating North, before going on to falsely accuse Kim of cheating.
