WHAT’S UP WITH KIM?
This might look as though Kim is enjoying a nice little afternoon snooze, but in fact she’s asleep on the job after Andrea puts in an SOS when Millie gets sick. The little girl is pretty poorly, and Kim knows she’s in no fit state to be looking after her granddaughter, but she volunteers her services all the same. Manpreet pops by to prescribe some antibiotics, just before Kim passes out so is completely oblivious to poor Millie in the throes of an allergic reaction – and suddenly all hell is breaking loose when Jamie comes home and sees the state his daughter’s in. The only good thing happening in this dark week is Gabby’s baby scan. Kim is ecstatic to be handed a picture of her unborn grandchild – though starts referring to it as “my child”.
Er, hello – mother-to-be standing right there! Meanwhile, Jamie tries to make amends with Dawn, by getting her to sink a whole bottle of tequila with him (with wooing techniques like those…) Dawn tries to end things, but he wants to carry on with their secret liaisons. Sadly, Jamie’s enthusiasm for lovin’ isn’t rubbing off on Jimmy and Nicola – who spend most of the week having a barney, and Jimmy finds out he’s being charged with death by dangerous driving! He then has some further news for Nicola…
