Tiff: ‘I love that my new boyfriend is vegan like me! ’
She had a tumultuous threeyear relationship with Sam Thompson on Made In Chelsea until 2017, but now Tiff Watson is happily loved-up with her footballer boyfriend, Cameron McGeehan.
The 27-year-old – who has been vegan for four years after deciding to follow in the footsteps of her older sister and former fellow MIC star Lucy Watson, with the pair opening a vegan restaurant in Fulham in 2018 – is delighted her boyfriend also follows a meat-free diet.
She tells Closer, “My boyfriend is vegan, so it’s really nice. We’ll always have avocado on toast for brunch. I’m always like, ‘Do you think we’ll get sick of it because we literally have it every day?’ But so far we haven’t!
“I’m the chef of the house, he’s a falafelin-the-oven type. He’s very much into cooking from scratch though, so he gives me the hard task of trying to prepare something amazing. I love to cook, so it’s been really nice.”
After joining the hit reality show in 2014, Tiff had an on/off relationship with Sam for three years – but in 2017, they called it a day, and Tiff left the show.
She returned after a three-year hiatus, which sparked arguments between Sam and Love Island star Zara McDermott, his new girlfriend. But Tiff began dating new man Cameron – who plays for Belgian team Oostende – last June, and despite only being together 10 months, the pair have moved quickly and bought a home together in West London earlier this year.
And Tiff says their relationship works because they keep it private.
She says, “Cam and I have moved quickly – we’ve bought a flat together which is a huge deal! Especially as I’ve never even lived with a boyfriend before. It feels really right, so we went with it.
“Cam’s not in the TV industry and he wouldn’t come on the show. It’s nice that can be separate. I definitely intend to stay on the show, though – I really love doing it and it’s great to be working with your friends.”
