Kerry: “I’ll make millions with my new body”
After going under the knife again last week, insiders say Kerry Katona is determined to make a success of her X-rated new business after being snubbed by Atomic Kitten on their reunion single
She revealed last week that she’d undergone her fifth boob job, a tummy tuck and liposuction surgery, dubbing it a “full MOT” after feeling miserable about her body and “drooping” boobs.
Despite previously championing natural weightloss and claiming she’d finally learned to love her body, mumof-five Kerry Katona revealed she “loathed” her curves after getting into a cycle of comfort eating and gaining weight.
Speaking ahead of her surgery, Kerry, 40, said, “I’m also going under the knife in July for my boob reduction, so I’m going to tell him to tuck and suck everything on my tum while I’m there. It’s like going in for an MOT”.
SNUBBED
Kerry’s surgery revelation – which she was keeping under wraps as Closer went to press– follows her being snubbed by her former Atomic Kitten bandmates earlier this month when the other members reunited to release a reworked version of their hit Whole Again in honour of England manager Gareth Southgate, after the song was adopted by fans during the Euros.
Now, an insider tells Closer how Kerry is hoping that the

results of her surgery will give both a boost to her confidence and her earning potential – as she continues to post X-rated pictures on adult website, OnlyFans. She’s already said to be pulling in a six-figure sum every month and to have become a millionaire thanks to her saucy posts, following her bankruptcy in 2008.
A source says, “Kerry was feeling in a good place, and loves her OnlyFans work and the money she’s making and sees herself making millions. But she was hurt that no one got in touch with her about the song – she still feels part of Atomic Kitten, after all, she was an original. She helped create the band’s success, so feels she should at least be asked whenever there are reunion projects. It felt quite cruel – rejections like that do upset her.
“Now, she sees making even more money through her OnlyFans account as getting one up on them. She has a new body and new boobs and is determined to make an even bigger success story for herself.”
Expressing her feelings about the new song on Instagram, Kerry, who sang on the original track but left half-way through promoting the single in 2001, posted a picture of Coronation Street actresses Helen Worth,
Sue Nicholls and Barbara Knox with a caption reading, “See Atomic Kitten have reformed for the Euros”.
And responding to a fan who asked her what had happened to the original line-up of Kerry, Natasha Hamilton and Liz McLarnon, Kerry responded, “I never left, darling, Tash said she didn’t want to do it any more, wanted a break, so I just thought we were on a break.”

She added, “A bit like Ross and Rachel. But her and Liz cracked on doing gigs, but wish
them all the best. I’m superproud as I’m where I am today because of Atomic Kitten… come on England.”
And Atomic Kitten themselves have told Closer that working with Kerry wasn’t an option – with Liz saying, “This song was our song with Jen and it was our hit together – Kerry never sang on it. So there’s no question about Kerry coming back. We are not going to work with her again.”
Natasha added, “Anything that we say is going to come across as bitchy – but it is well documented why we don’t work with Kerry.”
There have been various rumours about Kerry falling out with her bandmates. Last year, Kerry accused Liz of “punching me from behind” after a row, admitting she had retaliated and “made her get changed in the toilet and stamped on her feet while we were performing” before her departure in 2001.
BOUNCING BACK
Jenny Frost, who was
Kerry’s replacement after her departure when she fell pregnant by then-fiancé Brian McFadden, also revealed how she would “rather eat her own kidney with a spoon” than work with Kerry.
The source adds, “Kerry’s fed up with it and more determined than ever to bounce back and keep up her OnlyFans success. Deep down, she’d have liked for it to be possible to make amends and be back in the band, but for now she’s channelling her hurt into her OnlyFans and is excited to show off her new body.”
Kerry – who’s engaged to personal trainer Ryan Mahoney – has been open about her mental health over the years, speaking out about her depression, bipolar and insecurities, as well as a battle with drug addiction while married to second husband Mark Croft.
And the source adds that family and friends are hoping that Kerry’s surgery U-turn – after she championed the “healthy approach” to getting in shape and taking care of her body – isn’t down to low mood or the return of any deep-rooted insecurities.
The source adds, “Ryan and Kerry’s friends and family told her she didn’t need any more surgery, but she was adamant. They’re hoping this is a one-off and it isn’t a sign she’s feeling low again. The most important thing is that she feels content with what she’s had done and remains happy and healthy.”
