KYLIE AND PAUL ARE STILL LUCKY IN LOVE
Fans speculated the end of Kylie Minogue’s threeyear relationship with art editor Paul Solomons when she revealed she would be relocating back home to Australia but, four months on, the couple are still very much together as they navigate their new long-distance love.
The Lucky In Love singer, 53, told an Australian newspaper last week that she and Paul, who she met through a mutual friend in 2018, are “in a very good space”.
Kylie – who previously said Paul had won over her 100-year-old gran by speaking his native Welsh to her – added, “I don’t have a traditional set-up when it comes to my relationship. I don’t have the white-picketfence life. We are in a very good space and we cherish that right now.” They also posted Valentine’s tributes to each other on Instagram.
At the time of her announcement last October, a source revealed the couple were still “very much in love” and Kylie said she would still be spending a lot of time flying back and forth to London.
It was previously assumed Paul, 46, would be relocating to Australia after resigning from his job at GQ but, for now, a source tells Closer they’re putting their all into making the situation work – and his flexibility means he has more time to fly over to see her.
They reveal, “While Kylie and Paul are distant physically, they’re still as close as ever and committed to each other. Things are up in the air in terms of Paul relocating to Australia, but they’ve been making sure their relationship stays strong with twice-daily FaceTimes. They’re planning to see each other every couple of months, with Kylie coming to the UK in the summer and Paul going to Melbourne.
Kylie has done long-distance relationships throughout her career so she’s used to it, and Paul is getting used to it. Things are going well.”
