Her show-stopping appearance came just two months after splitting from Alex Lawler – an ex she rekindled her romance with in July, shortly after breaking off her engagement to Jamie Horn, with whom she shares 22-month-old son, Billy.

And pals tell Closer how Sheridan’s image overhaul has been sparked by her desire to dip her toe back into the dating pool.

A source says, “Sheridan’s been through hell over the last year but, after doing a lot of work on herself and getting back to the ‘old Sheridan’, she’s ready to open her heart up to someone.”

Following her split from Alex, Closer recently revealed how Sheridan was still hung-up on Jamie, 30, and had rushed into the new romance without giving herself time to heal.

The Gavin & Stacey star appeared to have found her “happy ever after” after meeting insurance broker

The source adds, “Sheridan thrives on her work and, together with being a mum, it’s given her a newfound appreciation for how much she has to be grateful for, as well as taking pride in how well she’s taken on the role of being a working single mum.

“The missing piece of the puzzle is finding her ‘happy ever after’, so she is putting herself out there and hopes she will find her dream man – and even give Billy a sibling.”
