VANESSA FLIRTS WITH ONLINE DATING
The drama from their shocking split in early February is still rumbling on, with both Vanessa Feltz and her love cheat fiancé Ben Ofoedu speaking out and seemingly making digs at each other on social media.
But insiders now tell Closer that Vanessa is looking to the future without Ben, and has an eye on getting herself back on the dating scene.
A source says, “The last few months have been hell, but bit by bit, Vanessa is managing to put her life back together. She’s starting to feel more positive and she’s slowly putting herself out there again.
“Despite everything, she still believes in love and that the right person is out there for her. She’s interested in the idea of online dating, but is definitely not in a hurry. When she feels ready, she’ll look into it.”
Last week Vanessa, 61 – who split from Ben after 16 years together when it emerged he’d cheated on her multiple times while away working as a singer – candidly admitted that she’d faked orgasms with her former partner, revealing, “I’m not saying do it every time, but on those occasions – when you’re not concentrating and thinking about defrosting the freezer and are never going to get there – you’ve got to fake it.”
And in what some deemed a dig back at the presenter, Ben, 50, posted a cheeky video in which he quipped, “Oh! So now you faking it? [Laughs] Have a great day.”
Earlier this month, Ben told
Closer that he’d love to get back together with Vanessa, saying, “I’m still very much in love with her.”
But the insider adds that mum-of-two Vanessa – who also split from former husband Michael Kurer due to cheating – is determined to move on.
A source explains, “The way she sees it is you only get one shot at things and she’s determined to live her life to the full, even though Ben is no longer a part of it.”
