-

If you’d like to take a picture of yourself and give yourself time to strike the right pose, it’s easy to set the camera’s timer on your Windows Phone. Open the Lumia Camera app, tap the settings (cog) icon at the bottom right, then tap ‘timer’. Now tap the Delay dropdown menu and choose either ‘2 seconds’, ‘5 seconds’ or ‘10 seconds’. Leave the box below unticked, then tap ‘set’. Next, tap the bottom-left Back button, then the shutter icon to take your photo. You’ll see a small circular animation and your photo will be taken after the time delay that you set. To cancel the timer, tap the same settings icon, then tap ‘cancel timer’.
