Weed out the programs that are hogging your internet, using the latest portable tool from Nirsoft. Developer Nir Sofer already makes several programs that lift the lid on your Wi-fi. For example, there’s Wireless Network Watcher, which lists all the devices currently using it (your neighbour’s laptop, perhaps?). Networkusageview is only interested in software, not devices. Run the portable program as administrator (it doesn’t seem to work otherwise) to see a detailed list of programs and apps that are using your internet connection now (or recently). To spot bandwidth- hogs, scroll across to the Bytes Sent and Bytes Received columns, then drag the column headings to the left to make them easier to see. Right-click then select HTML Report to export the list.
